You Are Already Good Enough To Be Enlightened

3rd March 2007

Just as you are, right now, is good enough for you to be the enlightened one that you already are.

Absolutely nothing more for you to do to get it “right.” You are already “right.” You are the living one itself, the beyondness itself in which all things are begotten from, sustained by, and die back into.

It is the “motion of seeing” that is flowing through your very eyes right now. The moment that “you” are aligned as this “motion of aliveness” - that is you - you are no longer under the illusion that you are the person - the summation of the mind and the body that you drive around through day by day - that you think you are.

You are freed immediately from being bound by an activity that was never ever true of you. You only get lost in “notyou” because you fail to realize just who you are.

Once you realize just who you are is - energetically so, not as a “mantra,” an ideal, a philosophy or a concept - you will never be fooled again in the same way.

Many of today’s teachers have come to this place where they have “experienced” a moment of who they are but they do not simply abide here. They do not lose who they think they are in the moment by moment beingness of their self, their heart. They talk all “about” what it is like to be the one that is true of everyone. They do not truly “know” who they are and they do not “draw” those who are suffering the illusion of their own creation and sustenance into the “well of being.”

This of course, suits their listeners as they do not want to be the big “nothing” that they are, either. “Talking school” is where they feel relatively comfortable, with the “hope” that someday they will “get there,” meanwhile suffering the belief of who they think they are.

The immediacy of the heart is ignored - and refused - by the very same one that thinks it is.

Fascinating, this play of the world that is sustained in your own imagination, which is relinquished every night that you lay your head down on the pillow and close your eyes.

How to prepare for interview?

Research

The best way to impress your potential employer is to demonstrate knowledge of the company. Nearly every company has its own website, thus making it easier for you to obtain knowledge about their history, beliefs, and goals, as well as responsibilities of various job positions. This knowledge can be applied during the interview process. Moreover, it will impress the interviewer.

The information mentioned above can also be used for asking questions. Your knowledge about the company will help you create a better first impression, and craft intelligent, job-related questions.

Rehearse

It is a well-known fact that practice makes perfect. Though it may be tough to do, or may seem silly, it is the best way to prepare for an interview. Look in the mirror and evaluate your facial expressions and body language. All you need to do is go over the interview questions and carry on with practicing these answers in front of the mirror. Do not forget that employers look for confidence and strength. The best way to prove that you are one of the most confident employees is to look the interviewer in the eye; but remember not to stare.

The Five Best Blue Costumes for This Halloween

Blues Clues Costume

This is something for kids and the kids at heart. Blues Clues is a popular character in a children's show. The host dog, named Blue, is a favorite costume choice among children and is ultra-adorable, too.

Blues Brothers Costume

This one is for the guys who want to stray from the costumey feel of Halloween festivities and come in looking suave and debonaire. The Blues Brothers look is definitely one that would catch the attention of the ladies. Girls can come in this attire, as well, and get that sleek, power-girl look.

Blue Mermaid Costume

One of the more intricate blue costumes there are these days is the blue mermaid. While you can choose to come in another color, blue is the best and most elegant color choice for this costume. If you're planning to walk in it, make sure there's a slit at the bottom so your legs can move around. Or, you can really get into the moment and have your companions wheel you in while you sit pretty.

Blue Ninja Costume

Who says ninjas can only be in black or white? Spice up your ninja look and be extra unique by coming in as blue ninja. Don't forget your accessories!

Blue Bunny Costume

Make your kids look extra cute and adorable during this Halloween by coming in as bunnies, and not just bunnies, but blue bunnies! This one is great for the photos and will certainly make your kid stand out in the crowd.

Halloween festivities are made extra special because people really take the time to prepare their costumes and throw amazing parties. Whether scary or adorable, costume parties really are what complete the essence of celebrating Hallow's Eve. Blue costumes will no doubt add that extra special spice to the occasion and complement the rest of the crowd in creative attire beautifully.

Be cool in the eyes this Halloween by coming in blue costumes. Whether you're in a blues clues costume or a blue ninja, you will surely stand out from the crowd.

Developing Innovative Ideas for Business Success
Innovative ideas are what fuel the growth of any business. Thinking outside the box helps to distinguish you from the competition. In fact creative thinking is directly responsible for most all the new products and services we see being rolled out on a regular basis.

Most any new business venture that you may see is usually the result of some ambitious entrepreneurs' creative idea that was put into action. Obviously creativity is needed in some form or fashion in order for business success to be achieved. But what do you do when your ability to muster up any original or innovative thoughts becomes challenging to you?

Here are 3 approaches you can easily use to stimulate your thinking and brain storm your way back into the forefront of your industry

Take Notes

Get into the habit of taking notes of anything that may strike you as interesting or shows potential as being an opportunity. Also noting existing problems may be helpful for pondering later in a more relaxing environment. Sometimes trying to tackle and solve all these things at work can be difficult since your mind is juggling multiple issues.

By reviewing these notes in an environment that is 'removed' from work you can better focus on them. Your ability to brain storm these issues will therefore be greatly enhanced by the relative tranquility of your surroundings.

Reflect

Gain perspective on your day by reflecting back on what went right and why and what may not have gone according to plan. The ability to learn from our mistakes will only make us better. In addition we will also gain peace in knowing we won't make that same mistake again.

In looking back we always want to ask ourselves how a particular situation could have been handled differently or improved upon.

Maintain Social Ties

This is especially true with those people whose company you truly enjoy. Being around the company of those who relax and interest you is a great way to recapture that creative idea that has been eluding you. A mere comment, gesture or act can help unleash any ideas that had been 'padlocked' within your mind. Removing the pressures of the work environment makes your ability to recapture these random thoughts all the easier.

As you already understand implementing innovative ideas by thinking outside the box is what helps to distance you from the competition. The ability to harness and channel creative thinking into viable products, strategies or services can be a huge advantage. In this way any new businesses venture can gain a foothold in their industry and put them on a path for business success. There will be times however when your creative juices seem to completely dry up on you. By using the 3 approaches we discussed above you can easily trample these barriers and once again stimulate your creative thinking to regain your competitive edge.

The Real Tony Montana

Tony Montana, the incredible Cuban drug lord, is an imaginary character. What made him more famous was the incredible Al Pacino. The chill that burned down your spine was the awesome screenplay and the flawless portrayal of the Mariel Boatlift and Cuban Immigrants. In fact, the Scarface (movie does come up with original clips at the beginning of the film.

The real Tony Montana is the character portrayed by Al Pacino. A depiction of the drug lords in that era. In the story, Tony Montana identified himself as a "Political Refugee". Various movies later on created characters that had uncanny resemblance to the antihero.

The style that Tony depicted is worthy of art. So has it been. Various artists across the world have contributed and depicted Tony Montana into paintings. Why can't it be wall art? Perfect Gift - The Fifth Stage of Seven to Believe in an Idea

Once the seedling emerges into the light, it endures the many tests that nature brings, designed to increase its size and strength, as the young plant seeks to overcome the obstacles of competition for light and nutrients, as well as the seasonal threats to its survival.

After a few years, it becomes stable and begins to bear fruit. The first year of bearing, the fruit is small in size and number; the second a little larger, a little more. In time, it reaches the point where all things are working together for the good, and the fruit tree, as it has now truly become, bears the 'perfect gifts' and bequeaths them to the owner who, at the beginning, first sowed the seed.

It is the same with ideas. All good ideas go through the stages necessary for the growth of the idea, essential for it to develop in strength and size. Without these, it will not bear fruit in abundance. Just like the fruit tree, when an idea has weathered storms, overcome all obstacles, resisted all threats, and established a place for itself in the world, it will finally begin to bear fruit - the first stage of blessing.

Having moved through conception, action, testing and endurance, the idea is now in the 'Perfect Gift' stage of its evolution. In other words, the owner of the idea can now begin to enjoy the fruits of his or her labors.

The idea now looks great and tastes delicious, and the energy derived from it increases the desire of the owner to have, and to do, even more.

Satisfaction is experienced as the perfect gift returns a manifold increase to the owner, who sacrificed their time and energy to bring it to maturity and fruition. This perfect gift is enjoyment, blessing and reward, for all the effort invested into it. This stage is the goal, for all the trial and toil invested in the idea.

No longer necessary to endure trial or to struggle, the idea will now need only to be maintained, to be overseen, to be guided. With relative ease in comparison to the earlier stages, the idea will continue to bear fruit and bring reward, and with far less effort.

Sure, the owner will go on investing energy into the idea, to ensure that it maintains the course that was set before it, and continually returns to the owner the fruit they now enjoy. They work a little here and a little there, but in no way near the toil of before.

Now, the idea labors with the one who conceived it, and is a partner to the one who brought it into existence and saw it through the trials of its establishment. Now, the idea has momentum and is a force in itself. Now, the idea is mature and ready to produce after its own kind, to inspire even greater ideas that are in harmony with it.

Now, the idea is so strong that the owner can consider a time of rest, a time of reflection, a time to meditate. Soon the owner will find themselves in the privileged position to rest in an increase of greater faith, a time to consider new possibilities that will springboard onto that which is bigger, better, brighter, more!

Endurance - The Fourth Stage of Seven to Believe in an Idea

Opponents may enter the ring in the challenge of a boxing match. One is more skilled than the other, and may display that skill early in the match, convincing the crowd that the skilled one will emerge the victor.

The other, less-skilled opponent is more determined, hard-headed enough to have trained vigorously, building up a level of fitness that has increased his endurance. This opponent refuses to lose, refuses to give up, no matter the cost of the blows.

Who do you think will win in the end?

Most likely, the more determined opponent will eventually prevail over the more skilled one. Endurance will carry the more determined one all the way to the end when the more skilled opponent runs out of energy, gives up the fight, and is defeated.

The same is true when we begin a marathon race. We may start out with enthusiasm because our energy level is high, but we must then run the race with endurance to reach the finish line. Some race to reach the line in first place, other runners' motivations may be more personal; their goal is simply to finish.

In the case of the boxers, it is the last man standing who triumphs. In the case of those running the race, the first to cross is the winner. To others, just to cross that line is "winning".

It is also true that in the life of an idea, overcoming that unseen, yet very real, enemy of your idea; the last man standing wins, whether it be belief or unbelief. Keep in mind that it is unbelief that seeks to infect our minds with negativity, and a lethargy that works its way into us with every blow, every setback, every punch to the head and to the gut, or every tired step we must take, just to finish the race.

If we let it, and do not endure the blows and setbacks, the enemy will defeat us. If we do endure, and refuse to lose, we will prevail and defeat it. At all times, the choice is ours, even when it seems impossible.

If the idea is simple, the test will most likely be uncomplicated, as well. Yet, often a simple idea that has a great potential, or one that may affect special interests, will receive extreme opposition.

For example, the simple idea of nationalized health care has been successfully implemented in a number of western democracies for decades, by collecting health care taxes, controlling the expenses, and paying the health care expenditure from the revenue.

However, special interests that are enjoying the spoils of an expensive health care system, violently oppose change, at the expense of the sick and infirm. This is a clear example of a simple and compassionate vision being resisted by wealthy, powerful and influential groups.

All things have a season, or a period of time, when they are enabled to grow, as in the spring and summer, or appear to die, as in the fall and winter, when nature herself resists further growth. There are natural reasons for this, as in the example above.

We may ask ourselves, why ideas are resisted at all? In the realm of the spirit, ideas and inspiration are found. A season of time may be experienced when the idea appears to have declined, or even died, as in nature. Although there may be no outward evidence of growth, the life of the inspired idea still awaits in the fertile soil of the soul.

Last year it bore fruit, but now it seems to be barren. Endure the season, for endurance requires patience as a partner. For in a little while, the new buds of increase will begin to bloom, as new energy resurrects new life from the repose.

Sometimes you, and your idea, will have to patiently endure the winter season before it will bloom again. In the spring and summer time, the fruit will be even bigger and better!

Swim Suit Fits

Before you get a *serious heart attack* from embarking on your swimsuit quest, you have to look at yourself in the mirror and identify what your assets and "areas of improvement" are. Don't worry, nobody is around to judge you. And everything that you could think of is only between you and the mirror. I suggest picking out a clean mirror in a room with sufficient lighting so you can't miss a single flaw, like a minute dimple or stubborn mass of flab. You are your worst critic, however, you should love your body with all its imperfections because if you don't, who else will?

If you're faced with a little unwanted tummy or belly bump, stay away from complicated suits and stick to the basics. There's a perfectly good reason that God hasn't phased out the one-piece. If you don't even want to think about details too much, a classic black number would do because black is known to conceal a few extra pounds. But there are quite a number of one-piece suits out in the market today, which have elegant and snappy bust bands that capture the eye and create the illusion of a slimmer midsection. Printed suits could also be used to your advantage. Narrow horizontal stripes, for example, add shape at the waist while vertical lines pull the torso in opposite directions causing the body to look longer. Two contrasting colors between a suit and its shirrings across the middle of the body will showcase the waist and draw attention upward. I think the Mineral Blue Ruched Satin Swimsuit from Donna Karan New York would look absolutely flattering on any kind of figure. It has ample top support, a slimming ruched detail that runs from the neckline down to lower hip, and adequate coverage for the back and bottom. The best part about it is that it almost looks like a two-piece.

Whether you have a full or humble bosom, the secret to finding the right suit is to look for something with sufficient support partnered by a flattering cut. Deep and voluptuous cuts and halter necks highlight the shoulders and arms while they provide support. Underwire and necklines that are parallel to the ground puts everything right where they should be. A triangle bikini top can also be quite the winning piece. The Christian Dior Pink Smocked Houndstooth Bikini Top would give the right amount of lift while its herringbone pattern would add just a hint of class.

For dressing up a slightly heavier bottom, avoid anything that would cut through those hips and thighs such as boy shorts and bum-binding style bikinis. Instead, opt for a moderately high-cut bottom, which will streamline the legs and make them appear leaner and longer. You will realize that there's really no need for extreme measures such as *laser liposuction* just so you could fit into one. Coral Ruffled Bikini Bottoms from BCBG Max Azria have ruffled trims around the hips and plenty of coverage. If that still doesn't work for you, I suggest you hit the beach in hip and stylish board shorts that aren't too big nor too tight. The lace-up closure band should rest perfectly on your hips and this will let you move and groove anywhere, anytime. All designer pieces mentioned above are available at www.bluefly.com for your viewing and buying pleasure.

Your body is your blank canvas while the swimsuit you put on is your art. Be as creative and as fashionable as you can be, but always put comfort and support first. If you put a suit on and you feel like it's restricting or it doesn't hold anything in their place, then you might as well move on to the next one. Your swimwear will only look breathtaking on you if it fits you right.

The Missing Link Between Dreaming And Experience

So what happened to your dream lately? If it's STILL a dream, something is amiss, right?

The motivational gurus push you to slap high-fives and shout, "AWESOME!" and walk on broken glass and fire. You go back home on an emotional high and you still wouldn't care what they did to your 6-inches-between-the-ears as long as the 'drug' doesn't wear off.

You simply need a logical high to balance out. Specifically, you need an understanding of how taking little, insignificant-looking daily actions today can manifest your dream tomorrow. The honest folks caution you by saying Internet Marketing is just like any other business, and nothing is easy. We dare say it becomes much easier if you understand what this missing link is.

The truth is, your perception of Internet Marketing as a business can be broken down into bits and bytes from all that you see on your 15.4 or 17-inch screen. Do you know how easy it is for you to imitate Yahoo! as closely as possible if you so wishes? Why, Yahoo! has this section here and that section there, and an opt-in box here and an opt-in box there. Get your layout ready and fill the spaces with content, and keep on filling it and expand your web pages according to the size of your ambition.

You can never fall short when you feel you are doing your absolute professional best, but for lack of confidence in ideas or proven experience, there are many talented people out there who don't know how to start something right online. And even when they finally found all the pieces for a complete jigsaw puzzle (that means they acquired 'everything'), they still weren't sure because of this funny missing link.

"So Yahoo! has this box that somehow links to this section," you ponder. "But what is that huge infrastructure that makes it work?" But we thought there's nothing huge about Yahoo! except for its servers. The command link between 2 modules is only a few lines of programming code...or is it?

You are a very young child observing from the top of the stairs a party put on by your parents for their friends. You are aware of all the events taking place in the party, but you have little means to understand them. You know a little bit of language, so you can understand snippets of conversation. You certainly understand facial expression, so you can recognize fragmentary aspects of the interpersonal interaction. But you know nothing of sexual flirtation, political contention, or the effects of alcohol, so most of what you see makes no sense whatever. After several hours of seeing this spectacle, you return to your room and try to explain to your twin sibling what happened. Would you not explain the party in the only terms you had a grip on: the facial expressions? Would you not fill in the logical gaps in your representation with the meager stock of human behaviors you understood? A sexual flirtation becomes "he likes her"; a political argument becomes "he doesn't like him", possibly because "he's been bad". Drunkenness is interpreted as dizziness or silliness.

For lack of adult experience, you are amused by what you just saw as the party plays out like a dream. But will your preoccupation with the party today determines the path you will take tomorrow? Quite likely, you look forward to playtime at school, and then by next week, you don't even remember there was a party.

Corey Rudl and Bill Gates, for all their experiences, cannot touch your dream. Your dream in online business is what people will remember and support you for as you try to complete it. Your preoccupation with this dream is the energy devoted NOW to bring about the harvest at the end of the day. Experience counts for nothing except as reference to past lessons. That implies that 'experience' is just a useful tool. You just cannot afford to wait for time to pass you by in order to gain experience...whatever that means, nor perfect timing. Your action starts now. When? NOW.

If there are any missing links that you don't understand for lack of experience, OBSERVE the TRUTH behind the chicken nature of these links, then imitate it.

What Innovation Can Do to Your Life

It's a talent that everyone has, yet they think they don't. The power of innovation. If you've ever marvelled at somebody's creative prowess, guess what, you can create and innovate too. It just takes time. Everyone is born creative. The box of crayons in kindergarten were not limited to those who possessed potential; because the truth is, everybody has potential.

You know how long it took to learn to ride a bike or drive or to never commit the same mistake again? It's the same with innovation. It takes a bit of practice and a lot of time before this mind function comes easily when called. This article will teach you a few tips on how to bring innovation into your life.

Don't listen to what other people say. Follow the beat of your own drum. Allowing for the input of other people will only bring cacophony to the music you are trying to make. If you have an original idea, don't waste your time and effort trying to make people understand. They won't. And the help you will probably get comes in the form of negative feedback. If all those geniuses listened to their peers, we would probably still be living in the middle ages.

Spend time on it. I cannot stress that enough, although, please do not mistake this tip to tell you to quit your day job entirely. Do not. This involves some tricky time management but with a little discipline you'll be able to squeeze both in.

Exercise. Take a walk. Run a mile or two. Send all those endorphins coursing through your veins. Exercising certainly clears and relaxes your mind and allows for anything to pop up.

Record your dreams. Aren't some of them just the craziest things that your conscious mind would never have thought of? If you've had these dreams before, and I'm sure have, this only shows you the untapped innovative power you have lying within. So jot down those notes. Those dreams may just create an innovative spark in you.

Find your own style. You can always tell a Van Gogh from a Matisse. You'll know Hemingway wrote something by the choice of words on the paper. So it is the same with you. People will appreciate your innovation more because it is uniquely yours and that no one else would have thought of what you were thinking. That will let people see how valuable an asset you are.

Don't hide behind nifty gadgets or tools. You don't need the most expensive set of paints to produce a masterpiece. The same way with writing. You don't need some expensive fountain pen and really smooth paper for a bestseller. In fact, J.K. Rowling wrote the first book of the Harry Potter Series on bits of tissue. So what if you've got an expensive SLR camera if you're a crappy photographer? Who cares if you've got a blinging laptop if you can't write at all? The artist actually reduces the number of tools he has as he gets better at his craft: he knows what works and what doesn't.

Nothing will work without passion. What wakes you up in the mornings? What keeps the flame burning? What is the one thing that you'll die if you don't do? Sometimes people with talent are overtaken by the people who want it more. Think the hare and the tortoise. Ellen Degeneres once said that if you're not doing something that you want to do, then you don't really want to do it. And that's true. Sometimes you just want something so bad you become a virtual unstoppable. And that is passion. Passion will keep you going.

Don't worry about inspiration. You can't force it; inspiration hits when you least expect it to, for those unpredictable yet inevitable moments you should prepare. An idea could strike you on the subway, yet alas, you poor unfortunate soul; you have no sheet of paper to scribble down a thought that could change the world. Avoid these disasters. Have a pen and paper within your arm's reach at all times.

I hope this article has helped you bring more innovation into your life. Keep in mind that you're doing these things for your own satisfaction and not anybody else's. But soon enough they will notice, and everything should snowball from there.

But She Doesn’t

11th May 2006

Your mother just can’t do it ALL! She should know about administering her blog. And she does know a lot more about it than some, but today, she was poking around in the Wordpress blog interface, curious about the ‘Import’ feature on the Dashboard, and decided to try importing an RSS feed into it.

When she found a .XML file within her ‘Application Data’ folder within her ‘FeedReader’ folder that said ‘feeds.xml’, she decided to experiment with it and import that into her blog. OOOPS!!

The little Firefox ‘loading’ icon kept whirring around, and it was maybe about a minute into this process when she decided she’d better abort the mission. Guess what happened?

357 posts were made in this blog, and they were from all the presets in FeedReader from ‘Moreover’, and had nothing to do with the empowerment of women, or anything your mother particularly wants to have show up in this blog, so she went into her phpMyAdmin to have a look at the damage she had done with this little experiment, and found all the posts there, and decided to try to get rid of them.

Well, long story short, your mother doesn’t know enough about database administration to do anything that sophisticated, and she ended up deleting all the posts within this blog. DUUUHHH!!

So this is the first “post-post” she’s submitting, and she’s just going to have to start all over again. Oh well, it had only just begun anyway, and your mother has a lot of obligations because she’s signed up for every affiliate program under the sun, and these advertisers would like to see links to their products here, and of course, her readers want to find informative articles too…

Mother’s going to have to step back and re-assess everything about what this blog is supposed to be. Please feel free to comment about what you’d like to see here. She could use all the help she can get. You may need to log in to comment. Don’t worry about anyone here using your email address to send SPAM. That’s not going to happen. If you’d like to be updated on whjat’s happening here, Mother is working on her newsletter and mailing list, and once that’s up and running, she’ll be sending out a weekly email to anyone who wishes to get updates.

She has just too much to do, and we’re doing our best to help her out, but we don’t really have much of a handle on everything either.
